We meet every Tuesday in An Talla, 2pm – 4pm, where we enjoy games, crafts and lots of fun activities. It is £1 per session. Ùlpan Week long intensive courses are now being advertised. Tiree Community Shop

An open meeting was held with the community on 30th June to determine how the community shop project should proceed. Although there was a strong desire to establish a shop that was fully owned and operated by the community, there were an insufficient number of volunteers within the community that could commit to taking this option forward as part of a committee. After discussing various alternatives, it was agreed that acquiring a community-owned premises that could be leased out to a private business that would run a shop would be a reasonable compromise to help support this service on the island. The group will now be investigating this option.
